Named: Te Wā ~ The Journey
Ko te timatatanga,
ko te kore,
ko te pō,
ka puta, te ao mārama.
Tiheiwa mauri ora!
In the beginning,
there was nothing,
then came darkness,
then came the light.
Tis the breathe of life!
Story: How do we journey with time?
Our creation stories offer us the tapestry, the songs & the dreams from which we have been woven. These stories, born of the Earth, encapsulate stamps of time as the people have experienced it. Holding close the light that is offered through them. But we, as people of this Earthly walk, have forgotten that the light of life is truly offered to us in the now. Inside of each moment holds the unfolding of nothingness to light & the breathe of life. No space to hold onto what has come to pass, no concern about what is to come. Simply allowing the brilliance of the moment to reveal to us the essence of the story as creation wishes for it to unfold.
We carve a waka/a capsule of our ancestor Kauri that holds the truth of creation; a story carved into time, one that can never be untold. May we allow it to draw us together as one as we travel trusting-ly, knowing that the light will guide as we embrace this present.
